Goodbye dear friend...

We lost our sweet Lily this week and our hearts are saddened.  We will miss her greatly.  Here are a few pix to share our memories with you...

Boo at the Zoo!

I took the kids to Little Boo at the Zoo in Toledo and they had a BLAST!  They loved looking at all the other kids in their costumes and playing some fun games!  The animals were all out and not many of the families were stopping to look at them so we got some nice clear views!

Mason of course had to ride the train!  His FAVORITE thing about the zoo!  I like it too because its a chance for mommies and daddies to SIT!!!

 

And then Mason had a blast going down an inflatable slide (while Addi and I watched).

 

And finally we had to ride the carousel (not sure how to spell that sorry!)...Mason picked his favorite, the giraffe!

 

Over all we had a good time and the kids were REALLY well behaved!  Can't wait to get back to the zoo again soon and visit our animal friends!

Oct. 10 - Oct. 17

We have had a lot of fun the past week, as always, staying very busy!

Sat. Oct. 10 I went to see So you think you can dance LIVE...it was a blast!  Had dinner with friends from WCDJFS and then saw the show with Amanda.  Our tickets were for seats with a completely blocked view so the nice staff at the new Lucas Co. Arena moved us to MUCH better ones!  Most of my pix were not great, but I still love em!

Also took the kids to a pumpkin patch with some of their friends on Tuesday....

 

We are gearing up for the winter here, Matt cleaned the corn stove out really well and got it running (now if only the weather would stay dry on the weekends so they could harvest the corn to put in it!).  Soon we will be putting the plastic on the windows and heaters in the kids rooms...fall is passing much too quickly!

I finished another tutu for Addi, this one is pink with a bow in front...very cute and VERY puffy haha.  Hope to get some pix of her in it soon.  I think that tutu plus some pink wings will be here very simple halloween costume this year...a fairy :)  Mason of course is going to be THOMAS!

This coming week we have a lot going on!

Thursday we will be heading to Toledo for Boo at the Zoo, a preschool halloween event at the Toledo Zoo.  Friday evening there is trick or treating and music and games at Levis Commons (shopping area in Perrysburg) and then the kids and I will be heading to Canton for Kiera's 2nd birthday party (Halloween themed of course!) and visiting with family.

WCDJFS girls out to dinner in Toledo...

Here we are...again!

Hi everyone! I am going to give this blogging thing another go!
Quick family update!

Matt - still happily employed full time at Widmer focusing in sales mostly. He is finishing up his fall softball league in Sylvania, Ohio and getting ready for some serious farming!

Steph - now a SAHM (stay at home mom) and loving it! Also doing homeschool preschooling with Mason (and sometimes his buddy Jenna who is here a few days a week). Enjoying time with the moms group, really getting back into crafting (scrapbooking, making tutu's, soon other sewing projects!), and focusing on health and fitness! Determined to loose this last 15-20!

Mason - now FULLY potty trained (even at night!) and learning by leaps and bounds! Still in love with trains and all things Thomas! His new love is Dinosaur Train! Mason is turning into a real ham and loves being silly! He is still a tiny thing, finally filling out his 2T clothes at almost 3.5 years old!

Addi - about 8 mos old and is a force to be reakoned with! Cuter than all get out and not waiting around for anything! She has been mobile since 5.5 mos and is now standing and trying to "Cruise" the furniture! She is eating almost all homemade baby food (thanks mom!) and now is on formula (mommy is done pumping YEAH!). She lights up a room!

Family Ventures: We went apple picking a couple weeks ago and tomorrow we are going to a pumpkin patch! Fun halloween/fall plans for the next few weekends as well!
